The state Mauritius is located on the islands in the western part of Indian Ocean near Madagascar. The country structure includes islands Mauritius, Rodriguez, Agalega and Kargados-Karahos.
Climate is tropical marine. The average temperature in February is +23 °С and in August it’s +19 °С.
Mauritius is a part of British Commonwealth. The president is the head of the country. The state is divided into 9 districts. It is the agrarian-industrial country; here people grow up tea, tobacco, sugar cane and make agricultural production. In capital city of Port Louis there are Jumm Mosque, Hinduistic Temple Mascara and Christian Cathedral of St. James.
Craters of extinct volcanoes and beaches of the Mauritius Island deserve special attention as places of interest, though beaches are empty because of sharks in coastal zones.
