The history of The Republic of South Africa begins in the year 1652, when Dutch seafarers founded Capetown. Later the country became British colony. The Republic of South Africa is located in southern part of Africa. It is washed by Indian Ocean.

In the second half of 19th century big fields of diamonds and gold were founded in South Africa. From that moment the state was no more agricultural. The Republic of South Africa provides itself with all kinds of agricultural products. Famous grapes from Capetown region is exported to many countries.
Kruger national park on the plains of Transvaal is populated by lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, rhinos and lots of other animals.
The center of downhill skiing is located in the Dragon Mountains. Very popular skiing resorts are placed there.
