Tarragona (IPA: [tərəˈɣonə] in Catalan) is a city located in the south of Catalonia and east of Spain, by the Mediterranean Sea. It is the capital of the catalan comarca Tarragonès. As of the 2005 census, the city had a population of 128,152, and the population of the entire urban area (including Reus, etc) was estimated to be 348,921.
