Saint Lucia is the island state located in a southeast part of Lesser Antilles archipelago.
Climate is tropical. The mid-annual temperature fluctuates from + 24 to + 28 °С.
The basis of economy of the state is made by agriculture and tourism. Basically farmers here grow up bananas, cocoa-beans, mango, citrus and sugar cane. Also the animal industries are developed and there are companies that process agricultural production.
On island there are no considerable historical and architectural monuments. The main objects of note are sandy beaches and exotic plants.
The island Saint Lucia is considered the island of gourmets as in local cuisine there is seafood along with exotic fruits and vegetables.

From July, 6 till July, 14th in Pamplona is celebrated a holiday, devoted to St. Fermin, bishop living in ХIII century, who rescued Pamplona from plague epidemic. Being first purely religious, later the holiday has turned in colourful national celebrations.
