Lowestoft is a town in Suffolk, East Anglia, England, lying between the eastern edge of The Broads National Park at Oulton Broad and the North Sea. The most easterly point of the United Kingdom is within Lowestoft at Lowestoft Ness, a length of coastline adjacent to an industrial development area. Lowestoft is twinned with the French town of Plaisir and was twinned with Katwijk in the Netherlands until that relationship ended in the 1990s.
