The Green Dragon hotel is situated in the heart of the city, only a few yards from the Cathedral. Our central location makes us an ideal base whether your visit is for business or pleasure, as we are close to the commercial centre, local attractions, museums, art galleries, restaurants, pubs and nightlife. The Hotel Dates back to the 16th Century. Records also show that when the Cathedral was being rebuilt, the architects stayed here. The Hotel has always maintained strong local links and is very well known. The impressive Georgian frontage is a prominent landmark in the City and internally there are many original features. The hotel has 83 en-suite bedrooms and includes 3 four-poster beds. Hereford has a modern theatre within half a mile of the hotel and an excellent Leisure Centre, Race Course and Golf Course.

The origin of the holiday is in antique times when the Bulgarian lands were occupied by the tribes of the Thracians. Thracians worshipped Dionis, the God of wine and grapevines, more than other gods.
