The republic of Zambia is located in the southern part of the Central Africa. The country is landlocked; its most part is occupied with hilly plateau.
Climate is subequatorial. In the period from November till April it’s warm and showery, from May till July it is cold and dry. From August till October the weather is hot and dry. Zambia is a unitary republic and the part of British Commonwealth. The country’s head is the president.
The basic income is brought by the mining industry and nonferrous metallurgy. In Zambia there are deposits of copper, called the «copper zone».
The main object of note in the country is Victoria Falls. Its height is about 120 meters, and width is 2000 meters. Also in Zambia there are many other small but not less attractive falls.
There are some national parks; the largest of them is Kafue.

Considering the important role of workers of tax service in development of a national economy and formation of incomes of the state budget, the President of Azerbaijan has decided to make February, 11th a Day of Formation of the Ministry of Taxes of the Azerbaijan Republic and to celebrate this day as a professional holiday of workers of tax service.
